Like many, Trent has been passionate about the sea and oceans his whole life. After following “The Cove” and the actions of Sea Shepherd Anti-Whaling Campaigns in the Southern Ocean, Trent became actively involved in Sea Shepherd in early 2013.
Trent is a highly knowledgeable in the area of Marine Debris having been a Marine Debris co-ordinator for Sea Shepherd for over 2 years.
Trent is key to the education team, having presented to many schools at all levels, plus community and business groups.
Most recently Trent has been involved in the campaign to ban plastic bags in Victoria, which involved presenting evidence of the impact of plastics in our environment to a parliamentary committee.
Trent has been with Sea Shepherd for over 5 years and in this time, has been on campaign to both Taiji, Japan and the Faroe Islands and has worked on board three of the Sea Shepherd ships.
