Youth Unstoppable follows award-winning filmmaker Slater Jewell-Kemer on her 8 year documentation of the Global Youth Climate Movement.

When 15-year-old Slater Jewell-Kemker began filming Youth Unstoppable, she certainly did not expect to finish a full decade later. She spent that period with a camera in hand, brimming with determination and traveling the world to various UN climate summits while documenting the life of young activists. For them, climate change was not just stories in the news, but equally often it was the alarming daily life of their home towns and villages.

Jewell-Kemker’s film shows that we can still save our planet, but it will require the collective effort of each and every one of us, along with bold political decisions that rise above particular political interests of the world’s wealthiest nations.

Youth Unstoppable takes everyone on a journey that allows us to connect with the activists of the next generation and instills hope to know that the future is in their capable hands.
