Lucy is passionate about all things sustainability focused, including social sustainability and behaviour change for sustainable actions. She grew up in country South Australia with a strong love for the environment. She has worked on projects to build resilience in many different communities professionally and personally.
Her current role with the South Australian Government is an initiative to make the City of Adelaide, the world’s first carbon neutral city. In her spare time Lucy is a committee member for Adelaide Sustainability Drinks, a bi-monthly sustainability networking opportunity and an ambassador for 1 Million Women a movement of strong, inspirational women and girls acting on climate and a volunteer for disaster response charity ShelterBox.
Lucy’s Master of Sustainability thesis explored the role of community group membership to sustainable behaviour change in remote South Australia.
