Speaking @ Operation Jeedara
I am a photographer and videographer who works in communications for issues relating to animals, the environment and human rights. I believe that good storytelling can help to create the radical change that is needed in today’s world. My creative work has been published globally alongside campaigns for social change with some of the world’s leading advocacy organisations.
I hold a B.S. in Animal Science and a Dip. in Creative Arts from The University of Melbourne, a M.A. in Science Communication Natural History Filmmaking from The University of Otago, NZ and a CASA Commercial Drone License. In 2011, I co-founded, Fair Projects and currently work as a Director for this organisation, offering professional quality media and communications to advocacy organisations around the world.
Over the past six years I have spent a lot of my time at sea working between Antarctica and the Gulf of Mexico producing media and developing the communication strategies with Sea Shepherd and during my time on land I received a scholarship and graduated as a fellow of the Centre for Sustainability Leadership. I am currently based in Melbourne, Australia, working between Fair Projects and freelance photography, videography and communication projects.
