OUR WORLD 2.0 >> SHORT FILMS AND PUBLIC FORUM
6:30pm Thursday 1st November @ Higher Ground, Adelaide City
The Our World 2.0 video series shares the ideas and actions of citizens around the world who are transforming our lives for the better. Showcasing solutions to the global challenges of climate change, food security, biodiversity loss and peak oil, this award-winning series of videos, produced by United Nations University Media Centre, exchanges these insights to inspire and transform discussion.
To accompany screenings of the Our World 2.0 short films, TRANSITIONS FILM FESTIVAL will be holding a public forum on global sustainability challenges in light of the United Nations Year of Sustainable Energy for All, Rio +20.
The forum includes local leaders in sustainability from academic, business, community and government organisations. There will also be an opportunity for audience members to ask questions and join in on the discussion.
