The Yes Men Are Revolting paints an intimate portrait of the past five years of activist-pranksters Andy Bichlbaum and Mike Bonanno, the infamous culture-jamming duo known for courageously fooling big government and mega-corporations with their precision impersonations – or “identity corrections” – and hilarious shenanigans.

Since their previous rise to celebrity, the Yes Men have turned their gaze towards the specter of climate change. This film tracks the journey of these two activists through all of the world’s climate ‘hot spots’ from Washington to Copenhagen, Uganda to the Albertan Tar Sands and beyond.

Laura Nix joins the Yes Men as a co-director and the result is a more deeply moving and intimate portrait of what it takes to be a celebrity activist in the modern world. From relationship break-ups to the threat of life-destroying legal actions, Yes Men Are Revolting documents the resilience and determination that it takes to create meaningful change on a global scale.

With great heart and a lot of laughs, the Yes Men will make you nostalgic about the past and hopeful for the future. If not, there is always the survivor ball!
